"Close-Up" (Histories of Vision) has been on of the fundamental projects ath the beginning of my career as a film critic. Founded together with the Director Giovanni Spagnoletti at the end of 1995, the first issue has been published in the beginning of 1996 by Lindau Press in Turin. Conceived to be a collective book more than a magazine, it explored the realms of Cinema & Video and their connections with literature, music and philosophy. I have been  Editor in Chief of the magazine until 2000. Here you find two samples of my essays for "Close-Up".
